John Michael Milner, 1960-2020

John Michael Milner of Hurst passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2020, at age 59. He was born Sept. 20, 1960 in Tyler to Roy C. Milner and Marie McFadden Milner.

He grew up in Euless, graduated from Trinity High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of North Texas. He worked in the information technology field most of his professional life, with the last several years as an IT specialist with Bank of America Technology Center in Plano.

He is survived by his brother, Mark Milner (Judy) of Frisco; sister, Michele Glidewell (Mike) of Alba; one nephew; one niece; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The graveside only service was held Saturday, May 30, 2020, at 11 a.m. at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery with Dr. Mark Neeley officiating.

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert

Concerts are Sunday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. and Tuesday evening, Dec. 19, at 7:30 p.m. Mike Holbrook is back in the director’s seat, so it’s sure to be a fun-filled couple of hours.
