A second man has been indicted on charges relating to the dog burning case that occurred last year in Quitman.

On Jan. 29, Richard Townley Jr., 44, of Quitman was indicted for cruelty to a non-livestock animal by a Wood County Grand Jury. Townley was allegedly involved in the case where two dogs were burned in a pit, along with several metal bands from old tires, on April 2, 2012.
