A memorial service for Karen Joiner Gray is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23 at Lowe Funeral Home with Brother Fred Morrow officiating.

Mrs. Gray passed away at her home Monday evening, Feb. 11, 2019.

Karen Gray was born July 7, 1956, in Arlington to Frank and Louise (Clarke) Joiner. She lived in Quitman 26 years, coming from Mansfield. In Texarkana on Feb. 17, 1994, she married the love of her life, Kevan Gray. Karen was a member of Church on the Rock in Quitman and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She owned Karen’s Korner in Mineola for 20 years and loved to go antiquing and shop at estate sales for the store. Karen was very crafty and loved to make things to go in the store as well.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Louise Joiner; one sister; and one niece.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of almost 25 years, Kevan Gray of Quitman; two sons, Travis Gray and Justin Gray, both of Quitman; daughter, Halee Scott of Littleton, Colo.; two brothers, Larry Joiner and Kirk Joiner, both of Arlington; two grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, extended family, and loving fur babies.
