Kenneth “Chip” Howell 1948-2020

Posted

Kenneth “Chip” Howell was born April 4, 1948 in Houston. Much of his childhood and school years were spent in Arlington. Chip served in the US Navy from 1967-1970. Much of his career centered around working on cars, including having his own muffler shops.

Chip had a love for life, cars and motorcycles. He loved to ride, any day, anywhere, anytime. An avid jokester, he could tell you the same story several times and still make you laugh. Chip was rarely without a smile, and his kind heart extended to his love of animals.

Chip is survived by wife, Deborah; two sisters, Jeannie Ford and Lisa Likes of Arlington; one son, Trevor Howell of Arvada, Colo.; two step children, Douglas Lambert and Deborah Osborne; and several grandchildren.

A service to celebrate Chip’s life will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2020 at the Spur On Ministries, 2670 S. State Highway 37, Mineola.

Services under the direction of Lowe Funeral Home in Quitman.
