Dr. Jill Diane Holland


Funeral services for Dr. Jill Diane Holland, 45, of Kilgore will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 19, at Forest Home Baptist Church with Reverend Earl W. “Buddy” Duggins, Dr. Gary May and Reverend Nathan Cain officiating. Burial will follow at the Crim’s Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore on Friday, from 6-8  p.m. Jill passed away on Tuesday, August 15 at her home in Kilgore.

Jill was born on March 24, 1972 in Shreveport and lived most of her life in the East Texas area. She graduated from Henderson High School in 1990. Jill received her Bachelor’s Degree from Stephen F. Austin University, Master’s Degree from Texas A&M, and attended the University of Houston Medical School where she received her Medical Degree. Jill worked in family medical clinics in Tyler, Longview, Jefferson, Marshall, Carthage, Lufkin and Kilgore. Jill currently owned and practiced at Faith Family Medicine Clinic in Kilgore. When not working, she loved to travel. Jill was a member of Forest Home Baptist Church where she loved to sing.

She is survived by her mother, Nancy Jane Holland of Kilgore; brothers, Jim Holland and wife Heather of Henderson and Jeff Holland and wife Robin of Kilgore; a niece, Grace Holland of Henderson; nephews, Jackson Holland of Henderson and Isaac Holland of Kilgore; several aunts and uncles: Rev. Roy Stephens and wife Loretta of Jacksonville, Lucille Stephens of Kilgore, June Hale and husband Michael of Kilgore, Pat Stephens and wife Gail of Henderson, Patricia Futch of Huntsville, Joe Holland and wife Pam of Henderson; as well as numerous cousins. Jill was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Holland, in 2016 and by her grandparents, R.E. and Helen Stephens of Henderson and Bill and Faye Holland of Henderson.

Pallbearers will be Jim Holland, Jeff Holland, Jackson Holland, Ricky Stephens, Scott Stephens, David Stephens, Randy Young, and Rev. Nathan Cain. Honorary pallbearer is Isaac Holland.
