Kiwanis donates to civic center
When the splash pad at the Mineola Civic Center needed repairs in order to open for the summer, the Mineola Kiwanis Club stepped up to help. It seems that the splash pad incurs a number of expenses through the year. In order to keep it a free activity for the youth of the area, the Mineola Kiwanis donated $1,500 to help with the splash pad’s upkeep.
