Lady Bulldogs come up short in second half
The Quitman Lady Bulldogs kept things even at Palmer last Friday afternoon before falling victim to cold shooting in the second half and falling 43-27.
The first half was a back-and-forth affair which ended in a 20-20 tie. The second half was all Palmer as they outscored Quitman 23-7.
Allie Berry led Quitman with 12 points while Kaysi Parker added eight.
Quitman was set to play at home Tuesday against Hawkins and again Nov. 29 on the road at Tyler Grace Community.
The Lady Bulldogs will be competing in the Winnsboro Tournament Dec. 1-3.
