Lady Hawks advance to regional quarterfinals
The Hawkins Lady Hawks used a balanced scoring attack on Friday, Feb. 15 to defeat Honey Grove 44-26 in the area round of the state playoffs.
Hawkins was led in scoring by Alyssa Eddington with 10 points, including three three-pointers. Lynli Dacus added eight points, eight rebounds, and three assists. Emily Moore added seven points, seven rebounds, and two assists. Harlie Conover had six points and four steals for Hawkins.
Other scorers for the Lady Hawks were: Makena Warren (four points), Christian Harris (two points, three rebounds); Jaycee Cheshire (three points, 12 rebounds, two steals); Logan Jaco (two points); Carolyn Searer (two points). Eddington
