The Lady Jackets fell to the Brownsboro, three sets to one, in volleyball action last Tuesday. The Lady Bears started the match with intense focus and took the opening set. Mineola recomposed themselves at the break, and came back to take a closely decided second set. The physically imposing Lady Bears used accurate floor spacing and a powerful striking game to close out the third and dominate the fourth set.

The Lady Jackets are next in action on Tuesday, August 28th at Brook Hill High School (outside of Bullard), and again this upcoming weekend at the Brownsboro Tournament.

Mineola opens district action and their quest for the playoffs Sept. 11 at Alba-Golden.
