The Mineola Lady Jackets volleyball season came to an end in the area playoff round Monday night in Whitehouse.
Mineola was swept in three games by Tatum, 25-19, 25-15, 25-9.

Lady Jackets swept in area playoff
The Mineola Lady Jackets volleyball season came to an end in the area playoff round Monday night in Whitehouse.
Mineola was swept in three games by Tatum, 25-19, 25-15, 25-9.
Tatum also won its bidistrict match in three games and advances to play Sabine on Thursday, a four-game winner over Atlanta.
Mineola ends its season with a second-place finish in district and a bidistrict trophy after missing the playoffs since 2016.
The Lady Jackets fell behind early in the first game, 6-1, and could get no closer than two points. It was still close at 20-17 until Tatum scored three in a row.
The second game was close in the early going, with Mineola still within range at 15-12 before Tatum pulled away.
Mineola could not get going in the third game, which started with a 7-0 Tatum run and was never less than five.
