Letter to the editor
Dear editor:
Seems we are all in a sinking ship together. Is He getting our attention? Shades of Biblical judgment, God seems to be saying, “You want to worship athletes, I will shut down the stadiums. You want to worship musicians, I will shut down the big venues. You want to worship actors, I will shut down theaters. Worshipping money, I will shut down the financial world. Don’t want to worship me, I will shut down your churches, too.”
We can all make improvements in our life, but the following is a travesty that invites further judgment. The medical field pledges in their Hippocratic Oath to “do no harm” and “not play God,” then participates in or idly observes the murder of over 2,300 babies everyday. A governor even says it is OK to kill a baby right after birth. We have crossed the line! The present viral curse is only the beginning unless we repent of this shedding of innocent blood, for which scripture demands restitution.
Our governor and attorney general have stated that only “essential” surgeries should be performed, which shuts down abortions. Planned Parenthood is actually suing for the right to consider abortions to be “essential” so they can continue their wanton killing. Churches say, “Well, we have to live with Roe v. Wade,” while sanctuary cities disobey federal law every day. Abortion will end when the churches say it will end! “Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.” Js. 4:17.
“If my people which are called by my name, shall humble themselves and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sins, and will heal their land.” 2 Ch. 7:14
Sincerely,
Ken Masat
