Dear editor:

Our community is facing a healthcare crisis of significant proportions. Many are uninsured or underserved and feel like they have nowhere to turn. We need your help to reach those in need.

Grace Community Healthcare Ministry is a full-service medical clinic in Mineola. We are located at the corner of Hwy. 69 and Blair St., directly across from the Mineola Public Library.

Grace is an independent, Christ-centered, nonprofit organization, assisting the medically neglected residents of this region.

Following the example of the Great Physician, we extend help, hope and healing for the whole person, while prizing individual dignity. Our staff consists of active and retired medical and social service professionals. Onsite services include office visits, lab services and medication assistance.

The 7th annual East Texas Giving Day is April 26. This 18-hour event takes place online at www.EastTexasGivingDay.org. Won’t you help us help those in need of healthcare? Won’t you help us save lives that, otherwise, might be lost?

If you can, we’d love it if you would make a donation of any amount or $25 to help us achieve our mission.

Thank you in advance for your contribution. Your full donation will go to toward our service to the underserved in our community.

Why wait? Do it today! Here are ways you can make a donation now:

Call 903-569-0020 or email us at gchadmin@peoplescom.net

We look forward to hearing from you soon.
