Memorial services for Linda Bradshaw, 71, of Quitman were Thursday, June 13 at Lowe Funeral Home with Brother Fred Morrow officiating.

Mrs. Bradshaw died June 11, 2019.

Linda Sue (Jackson) Bradshaw was born in Winnsboro on Oct. 4, 1947, to J.R. and Audrey (Usrey) Jackson. On Sept. 20, 1967, she married the love of her life, Johnny Bradshaw, in Grice, Texas. The two lived in Dallas several years before moving back to Quitman in 1982. She worked for Western Electric and later for Airborne Inc. for 10 years, but her greatest accomplishment was being a homemaker. She was a devoted wife for 51½ years and a role model to her children and grandchildren. She selflessly raised her grandchildren, teaching them to cook, keep house, and how to raise a family. She enjoyed making porcelain dolls and sewing, but after her great-grandchildren arrived, she could be found spending time and loving on them.

Mrs. Bradshaw was a Christian and a member of Little Hope Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J.R. and Audrey Jackson; brother, Bobby Jackson; sister, Eva Bradshaw; daughter, Shelly Bradshaw; and son, Kevin Bradshaw.

Survivors include her husband, Johnny Bradshaw of Quitman; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Linda may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Shriners Hospitals for Children.
