QHS students adopt ‘angels’ for Christmas
In an effort to give back to those less fortunate, Quitman High School recently started a program to give back to needy children this Christmas. The project, Angel Tree Adoption, presents Quitman students with the opportunity to buy Christmas gifts for the impoverished youth within our town. With the Quitman Christmas Sharing, a local foundation designed to give back to our community, the high school hopes to serve all of its "angels" this holiday season. Quitman Christmas Sharing was able to serve 223 houses, a total of 600 people last year! It is our wish that everyone can give generously to the Quitman Christmas Sharing foundation located just behind Bud Moody Stadium. The Angel Tree Adoption committee and the leadership of Quitman Christmas Sharing hope to extend a helping hand in order to give everyone in our town a happy holiday.
