Minus a pair of starters due to COVID-19 protocol the Quitman Lady Bulldogs put up a good fight but fell to Mt. Pleasant Chapel Hill last Friday 12-25, 19-25, 25-16 and 17-25. With the loss, the Lady Bulldog playoff aspirations will have to wait until next season.

Stats for Quitman were Halie Davis with eight kills, three aces and five digs; Lindsey Hornaday three kills, two assists, 19 digs; Brooklyn Marcee three kills, two aces, 13 digs; and Carley Spears seven kills, three aces, nine assists,and seven digs.
After Tuesday’s home game against Mt. Vernon, the Lady Bulldogs will finish the season at Winona Friday.
