MHS business team takes first at regional competition
Mineola High School’s Business Professionals of America Parliamentary Procedure Team won first place at regional competition earlier in January and advances to State competition.
The team is advised by Mineola High School business technology teacher Jill Graves.
This is the second year in a row that they have won first place at the regional competition. The team placed third at State last year, and Graves expects the team to place first this year.
The following is the results of the competition:
First place: Mineola High School
Second place:Sunnyvale High School
Third place:Heritage High School
Fourth place:Reedy High School
Fifth place:Independence High School
Sixth place:Plano Senior High School
