Milo Weaver, 1925-2019

Milo Weaver, 94, passed away on Sept. 24, 2019. Memorial services were held on Friday, Sept. 27, 2019, at Myrtle Springs Baptist Church. Visitation began at 1 p.m. and the funeral followed at 2. Burial was at Myrtle Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

Milo was born on Feb. 23, 1925 in Frankston to William Milo and Ollie Margaurite (Henry) Weaver. In December 1943, Milo enlisted into the United States Army. He served in European Theater during World War II and was honorably discharged in May 1946. Milo married Ann Brady of Quitman in Dallas on May 27, 1946. Milo worked as an electrician for 37 years with Stewart & Stevenson Services. He was a longtime Deacon at Myrtle Springs Baptist Church and was also a member of the Masonic Lodge in Irving.

Milo was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Ann Brady Weaver in 2008; his parents, eight sisters and one brother. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Jerry Low of Quitman; son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Carolyn Weaver, of Quitman; son and daughter-in-law, Doyle and Sharon Weaver of Kerrville; six grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
