Mineola Caring and Sharing hosting annual volunteer dinner

Mineola Caring and Sharing will hold its annual volunteer appreciation meeting and dinner on Monday, Jan. 18 in the meeting hall of the First Baptist Church in Mineola at 5:30 p.m. Meat for the covered dish meal will be furnished, and volunteers are asked to bring side dishes and desserts.

Final committee reports for 2020 will be given, and directors for 2021 will be elected following the meal. The Caring and Sharing board of directors for 2021 will meet after the event to elect officers, finalize the year and begin plans for the 2021 Christmas program. All volunteers and anyone interested in becoming involved are invited to attend.

Special Olympics returns in style

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert

Concerts are Sunday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. and Tuesday evening, Dec. 19, at 7:30 p.m. Mike Holbrook is back in the director’s seat, so it’s sure to be a fun-filled couple of hours.
