Mineola EDC buying land off U.S. 69 South
The Mineola Economic Development Corp. took steps last Tuesday to aid future business development with plans to purchase 6.82 acres on the west side of U.S. Hwy. 69 South.
The purchase must still be approved by the city council on Sept. 23.
The tract is at the end of Debby Lane, which runs between O’Reilly Auto Parts and Budget Business Systems.
It is already zoned for commercial use.
Three EDC members also agreed to serve two more years, Helen Haneline, Bob Smith and Jason Ray.
