Mineola Elementary students portray historical Texas figures
Mineola Elementary School had a full house for it’s Living History Museum. Third graders represented inventors and entrepreneurs, fourth graders represented historical Texas figures, and fifth graders represented famous Americans in math and science.
Students were assigned a person and given two to three weeks to research, write an essay, and make note cards of facts. They overcame any fears of public speaking Tuesday night when they dressed up as their character and spoke to visitors.
