Mineola enters the boys state basketball playoffs

Mineola faces Hooks for the bidistrict playoff Monday at Spring Hill.

Mineola has the early lead 14-7.

The Yellowjackets lead 23-13 after the first quarter.

With 5:10 left in the first half Mineola leads 24-16.

Mineola has built a 37-19 halftime lead.

One quarter to play and Mineola leads 57-33.

With 4:27 to play the 'Jackets are up 59-37.

And the final is 64-40 Mineola for the bidistrict championship.

Jefferson and Sabine play Tuesday night with the winner to take on Mineola, possibly Thursday.
