The district had not announced updated graduation plans as of press time Tuesday.

Tresca is the daughter of Michael and Sarah Tresca, who work for the Wood County Co-op as special education councilors, and she has an older brother, Anthony, who attends Trinity University.

She plans to attend LeTourneau University in Longview where she will be playing softball while majoring in nursing and psychology to pursue a career in pediatric psychiatric nursing.

“It’s hard to pick just one memory from high school,” she said. “I have had a great high school experience. I just wish that I could have been able to finish my senior year with the people I’ve grown up with.”

Kirk is the daughter of Jimmy, MHS class of 1985, and Lenice Kirk and has two older brothers, Trent (MHS class of 2010) and Shane Kirk (MHS class of 2013), and an older sister, Shenice Lacy (MHS of 2007).

“Throughout high school, I was involved in countless activities,” Tristan said. “A few of my main involvements were band, cheerleading, track, student council and key club. I also held multiple leadership roles, including drum major, cheerleading captain and class vice president.”

She plans to attend The University of Texas at Tyler to obtain an interdisciplinary studies degree in education.

“A few of my special memories from my high school experience were winning the state marching contest twice and cheering at the AT&T Stadium at the state football championship,” she said.
