The Wood County Extension Office will again offer the "Do Well, Be Well with Diabetes" class series. The classes will be held on 5 consecutive Thursdays, (May 30, June 6, 13, 20, 27) at 6:00 p.m. at the Extension Office, 618 S. Main Street, Quitman, TX.
Registration is $15.00 per person for the entire series. Participants will receive a notebook with all the materials included.
Whether you have been newly diagnosed, or were diagnosed in the past and need some new information and tips on managing your diabetes, this class will be beneficial for you. It will cover information on understanding diabetes and specific topics such as nutrition, monitoring, medications, exercise, and prevention of complications (dental/ foot/vision), etc.
