Mineola Library Notes
Well, summer has really flown. We had a great time with Camp Read-a-Lot and we look forward to what next summer will bring.
School begins very soon and the library’s programs will be rather quiet for August. This is a time for the staff to reflect on past programs and plan upcoming programs.
Toddler Story Time will continue on Tuesday mornings at 9 a.m. for children 18 months to 3 years with their parent/caregiver. Some of the children who have participated over the summer will be moving up to PreSchool time that will begin in September.
East Texas Library Friends book club is reading “Demon of Unrest” by Erik Larson and will discuss that in the Lillie Russell Memorial Library in Lindale on Aug. 24 at 2 p.m.
East Texas Perfictionist book club is reading “The Five Wishes of Mr. Murray McBride” by Joe Siple and they will meet to discuss this selection on Thursday, Aug. 29 at 6:30 p.m. in the Mineola Memorial Library.
Remember, the Mineola Memorial Library is a 501(c)3, non-profit and does not receive any tax monies. Your donations are not only very appreciated, they may be tax-deductible.
