We finally received our winter. Hope everyone stayed home and warm. In preparation for the precipitation, we did not charge fees during our closure due to weather. If you still cannot get out and about, please call the library and we will make arrangements with you, 903-569-2767.

We finally received our winter. Hope everyone stayed home and warm. In preparation for the precipitation, we did not charge fees during our closure due to weather. If you still cannot get out and about, please call the library and we will make arrangements with you, 903-569-2767.

When we reopen, please, make use of our curbside service. If you can go online and reserve books, that would be awesome. If not, please call and let the staff know if you have a particular title in mind or certain authors or genres, and then the staff can pull some selections for you.

Remember, we also have eBooks available for use on electronic devices.

We appreciate everyone’s patience while we, like many others, dealt with power issues and the forecast. We strive to have a usable library, and sometimes we have to close in order to make sure we can offer such an environment.

We do not have tax assistance available this year. We do have available the 1040 and the 1040SR forms. We have a copy of the instructions and will make copies of specific pages for you. We don’t charge for the tax forms, but we do charge 20-cents a page to make copies of the instructions, just as we would if you chose to print something.

Remember, while vaccinations are becoming available for those in group 1A and 1B, we are not out of the woods yet.

Please, continue to wear a mask while in the library, wash your hands or use hand sanitizer, keep your distance and most importantly, stay home if you are not feeling well. Call us, we can make adjustments.

Remember, the Mineola Memorial Library is a 501(c)3, non-profit and donations are not only appreciated, they may be tax-deductible.
