This couple decided to have twice the fun by joining in on the action of the Mineola Metric 100 Bike ride on a bicycle built for two Saturday morning at the Mineola Nature Preserve. Though there was no official record of how many twin rider bikes were entered, at least three were noted by observers at the starting area of the event. (Monitor photos by Tommy Anderson)
The field spreads out going around a big sweeping curve just after the start of the Mineola Metric 100 Bike Ride Saturday at the Mineola Nature Preserve. The ride, a fundraiser for the East Texas Food Bank and the American Diabetes Association hosted by Grand Oaks Vineyard and Winery, drew a record field of over 265 riders.
