Mineola Police reports for the past week included:

July 27 – A man reported a bicycle stolen from his property on Padgett Street.

Police arrested David Fredrick, 43, of Quitman on two Mineola traffic warrants and for possession of a controlled substance. He was arrested on West Broad Street.

July 26 – Police arrested George Averett, 29, of Mineola for several failure to appear Mineola warrants. Averett was riding a bicycle on South Pacific Street when officers stopped him.

A Padgett Street resident reported a theft of a weedeater.

Police arrested Levin Lynn Moss, 28, of Mineola at his residence on Kevin Street for a Mineola failure to appear warrant.

Officers arrested Joshua Allen Landrum, 31, of Mineola for driving with a suspended license after he was pulled over on South Pacific Street for a traffic violation.

An officer issued a ticket to a truck driver for an unsecured load after hay bales spilled at the intersection of Highways 80 and 69.

July 25 – An officer arrested Brandon Holland, 22, of Mineola for possession of marijuana after he was pulled over on North Pacific Street for speeding.

Police arrested Christopher Michael Duncan Hale, 18, of Mineola at 4:03 p.m. on a city of Mineola warrant for failure to appear. He was a passenger in a vehicle stopped for speeding on Goodson Street.

An officer arrested Michelle Annette Morris, 36, of Quitman at 7:08 p.m. for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance. She was a passenger in a car that was pulled over on Padgett Street for a defective brake light.

Police arrested Robert Harold Williams, Sr., 67 of Mineola on a Mineola assault warrant at his home on North Johnson Street.

July 23 – Officers responded to an ordinance violation at 12:07 a.m. for loud music on Bromberg Street. Officers talked with the residents who were playing video games and told them to turn it down.

Officers arrested Hunter Branam, 21, of Livingston on a Polk County bond forfeiture warrant. Branam and another man were walking on West Kilpatrick Street at 2:14 a.m. when officers approached them and found he was wanted on a warrant.

A Walmart employee was written a ticket for theft when the store’s management reported the employee had stolen two food items valued at $9.25.

A man reported a woman took his Lone Star Card and used it several times in Mineola for charges of about $224. The matter is under investigation.

July 22 – A man on Molly Lane reported a woman stole some pills and broke his tablet, but he didn’t want to file charges.

An officer responded to a call of a welfare concern for an elderly woman walking around in Brookshire’s at 8:32 a.m. He gave her a ride to the human resources office.

At 9:12 a.m. an elderly woman with a walker was reported walking on West Broad Street and was in the middle of the road. An officer talked with her and told her not to walk in the road.

A woman reported that a man was sexually assaulted. The matter is under investigation.

Officers received a theft report from South Pacific Street when a hydraulic jack was removed from underneath a gooseneck trailer.

July 21 – An officer arrested Charles Bell, 19, of Quitman for driving with an invalid license. Bell was pulled over at Blair and Second Streets for failing to signal turn within the required distance and an expired registration.

Police arrested David Allen Jackson, 20, Mineola for driving while license invalid and drug paraphernalia. Jackson’s passenger Joseph Williams, 18, was also arrested for permitting an unlicensed person to drive. The care they were in was pulled over at Line and Second Streets.
