MINEOLA MURAL TAKES SHAPE
Local artist Lauren Pitre continued work this week on a mural emblematic of the city of Mineola. Pitre, a University of Texas at Tyler grad, and fellow artist Sam Edwards of Longview have been making great progress with their skillful painting on the side of the Factory Connection building at Line and Broad streets in downtown Mineola. Although many elements of the mural appear complete, Pitre said she and Edwards still have much work to do before the final product is finished.
