1:47 a.m., suspicious person, Stone, subject heard someone outside window, directed patrol issued.

7:53 a.m., alarm, 400 blk E. Broad, everything OK.

 12:25 p.m., alarm, 100 blk N. Pacific, building locked and secured.

1:49 p.m., disturbance, 900 blk University, male and female fighting, verbal only.

2:56 p.m., welfare concern, N. Newsom, dog barking but no one answers door, made contact with owner.

3:58 p.m., suspicious person, 500 blk W. Broad, subject reported walking down street with shotgun, officer advised it was a walking stick.

7:17 p.m., motor vehicle accident, 100 blk NE Loop 564, vehicle hit in parking lot.

8:36 p.m., theft, 100 blk NE Loop 564, arrested Machel Lawrence Scarborough.

Jan. 10

2:19 p.m., assist other agency, Greenville, EMS requesting assistance.

2:27 p.m., motor vehicle accident, 100 blk NE Loop 564, officer viewed video and did not occur at this location.

4:56 p.m., runaway, 1000 blk Sycamore, child at friend’s house and returned home.

5:02 p.m., assist other agency, 2200 blk N. Pacific, information on subject reported being held against will sent to another county.

5:49 p.m., city ordinance violation, Country Club Dr. at Loop 564, someone riding ATV, unable to locate.

7:23 p.m., welfare concern, 500 blk E. Broad, subject in front of business asking for ride, had been kicked out of residence with no place to go, given night’s stay through ministerial alliance.

8:36 p.m., assist other agency, 900 blk W. Patten, subject waiting on ride, officer gave ride.

10:52 p.m., disorderly conduct, N. Pacific, subject reported incident but no evidence that offense occurred.

11:12 p.m., city ordinance violation, 1800 blk N. Pacific, loud music, officer could not contact subjects but turned down music.

9:02 a.m., trespassing, 600 blk W. Broad, subjects left property.

11:14 a.m., disorderly conduct, 100 blk N. Pacific, video reviewed and no offense occurred.

11:22 a.m., assault, N. Newsom.

1:08 p.m., fraud, Landers, money taken from bank account.

7:39 a.m., suspicious vehicle, 400 blk W. Front, vehicle parked in front of house, owner moved.

9:15 a.m., officer flagged down, 500 blk E. Broad, subject needing directions.

9:34 a.m., burglary, 17900 blk N. Pacific.

10:31 a.m., escort, 1000 blk NE Loop 564.

11:33 a.m., motor vehicle accident, 100 blk E. Broad, two vehicles.

11:34 a.m., theft, 100 blk NE Loop 564, gun stolen from vehicle, unsure when or where theft occurred.

5:18 p.m., suspicious vehicle, 200 blk Stone, someone in vehicle threw water bottle at subject.

5:36 p.m., drunken subject, 100 blk E. Front, intoxicated subject on train, also caught smoking, arrested.

8:58 p.m., theft, 400 blk N. Line, prescription medication taken from vehicle.

Jan. 13

9:02 a.m., suspicious vehicle, Wren at Phillips, vehicle on side of road, belongs at the reported address.

9:26 a.m., motor vehicle accident, N. Hwy. 69 at Loop 564, DPS trooper en route.

4:32 p.m., city ordinance violation, 200 blk N. Newsom, vehicle parked in handicapped stop, gone on arrival.

6:35 p.m., reckless driver, S. Pacific at Hwy. 80, unable to maintain single lane, heading east on Hwy. 80, out of city limits.

Jan. 14

2:06 a.m., information, 500 blk W. Kilpatrick, house with broken window, damage appears to be old.

6:00 a.m., assist other agency, N. Newsom, subject needs ambulance, transported to Quitman hospital.

7:15 a.m., burglary, 900 blk E. McDonald, found purse with contents strewn, returned to owner.

7:24 a.m., burglary, Mimosa, vehicles broken into and contents scattered, does not appear anything missing.

10:10 a.m., motorist assist, N. Pacific at Broad, 18-wheeler stalled at intersection, cones placed and assistance on the way.

10:51 a.m., information, 100 blk NE Loop 564, repossession of vehicle.

11:54 a.m., information, Elliott, possible civil matter.

1:50 p.m., 200 blk Giraud, truck in field, vehicle stuck and assistance on the way.

3:48 p.m., information, Francis St., vehicle repossession.

4:01 p.m., suspicious vehicle, 400 blk S. Pacific, vehicle parked in grass, same as prior call.

7:54 p.m., information, 300 blk Greenville, subject wants to know if there is an arrest warrant, referred to justice of the peace.

11:57 p.m., suspicious person, 100 blk NE Loop 564, unknown subject sitting in reporting party’s vehicle, subject got into another vehicle.

Jan. 15

7:44 a.m., burglary, N. Line, car broken into.

11:27 a.m., motorist assist, 500 blk E. Broad, everything OK.

1:11 p.m., funeral escort, 200 blk N. Johnson.

1:52 p.m., information, 1200 blk N. Pacific, 911 hangup, everything OK.

4:12 p.m., burglary, 700 blk N. University, vehicle broken into and gun missing, recovered by Grand Saline officer during traffic stop.

8:17 p.m., public assist, 200 blk W. Broad, debris in roadway, roadway cleared.

8:39 p.m., unsecured area, 500 blk N. Line, unsecured vehicle, homeowner notified.

10:55 p.m., suspicious person, Newsom at Welch, male walking, everything OK.

 The department also made 70 traffic stops and 14 animal control calls.
