Mineola Police Report
December 25
2:02 a.m., assault, Hall at N. Pacific, subject reported being attacked, appears to be intoxicated and unsure of location, parties separated and Anival Reyes arrested for public intoxication.
11:23 a.m., unsecured area, S. Pacific, open front gate, building secure and gate closed.
12:01 p.m., assist other agency, Sycamore, welfare check, everything OK.
1:50 p.m., welfare concern, W. Patten, custody matter, no offense occurred.
2:11 p.m., suspicious vehicle, 4429 CR 2724, (Nature Preserve) vehicle has been at area for some time, advised has reservation for camping.
6:08 p.m., reckless driver, N. Pacific at city limits, weaving and tapping brakes, vehicle stopped, three warnings issued.
6:38 p.m., disorderly conduct, Padgett, loud music, no music or subjects outside.
6:52 p.m., disorderly conduct, 300 blk N. Newsom, loud music, no music, only children playing.
6:57 p.m., reckless driver, N. Pacific at city limits, swerving and slow speed, subject was lost and given directions.
7:42 p.m., reckless driver, E. Broad at Pacific, possibly intoxicated driver, Steven Dale Akin of Henderson arrested for driving while intoxicated, third or more.
10:21 p.m., suspicious vehicle, 1800 blk CR 2147, appears to be abandoned.
11:25 p.m., information, S. Pacific at Loop 564, look out for vehicle involved in drive-by shooting in Smith County, advised was fireworks and to disregard.
December 26
12:52 a.m., unknown offense, Goodson Cir., sounds of gunfire, unable to locate.
1:24 a.m., unknown offense, Bromberg, subject advised ex-boyfriend is having her followed.
4:09 a.m., alarm, E. Broad, front door secured and back area inaccessible.
8:18 a.m., reckless driver, N. Pacific at Loop 564, wrong side of road, unable to locate.
11:31 a.m., public assist, University at Edwards, camper blocking roadway, vehicle is on private property.
12:17 p.m., theft, 300 blk Greenville, cell phone stolen in Quitman, tracked to location in Mineola, located and returned to owner.
5:17 p.m., burglary, W. Kilpatrick, vehicle broken into.
5:57 p.m., assist other agency, W. Hwy. 80 at FM 1253, two-vehicle accident.
8:26 p.m., alarm, N. Pacific, building secure.
10:49 p.m., alarm, S. Pacific, canceled by alarm company.
11:53 p.m., unsecured area, W. Kilpatrick, open door at residence, everything OK.
December 27
10:42 a.m., trespassing, 400 blk W. Patten, subject believes someone is in vacant home.
11:00 a.m., alarm, Pegues, home was vacant and being shown to next tenant.
11:08 a.m., welfare concern, 600 blk W. Patten, child riding in roadway, almost hit by officer, followed to residence, released to mother.
11:35 a.m., suspicious vehicle, 500 blk Peachtree, vehicle parked and driver ran off, unable to locate driver, not a traffic hazard.
2:32 p.m., reckless driver, N. Pacific at Loop 564, unable to locate.
2:35 p.m., suspicious vehicle, E. Commerce at S. Pacific, odor of marijuana from parked vehicle, unoccupied and no drugs in plain view.
5:57 p.m., public assist, 300 blk Greenville, subject wanted officer’s assistance in prank, advised not a good idea.
8:12 p.m., public assist, N. Newsom at Ivey, subject advised someone burning in area, unable to locate.
8:16 p.m., alarm, E. Broad, building secure.
December 28
1:42 a.m., unsecured area, Sycamore, engine running on vehicle with open door, no keys and dash damaged, unable to contact homeowner.
9:49 a.m., found property, N. Pacific, equipment in parking lot, owner to retrieve.
4:47 p.m., missing person, Sycamore, juvenile located at nearby residence.
5:42 p.m., information, Nature Preserve, subjects advised to be out prior to Jan. 1.
8:30 p.m., disorderly conduct, W. Buchanan, kids throwing fireworks at residence, warning issued for fireworks.
December 29
12:16 a.m., unknown offense, W. Patten, lights reported on in vacant home, appears to be a civil matter regarding ownership.
2:17 a.m., unsecured area, N. Johnson, open door at business, facility cleared.
10:05 a.m., city ordinance violation, three wheeler observed doing doughnuts in parking lot, unable to locate.
2:36 p.m., theft, Greenville, subject in vehicle dumped large trash bag.
6:21 p.m., suspicious vehicle, 300 blk Greenville, vehicle in parking lot and no one exited.
9:00 p.m., disturbance, Sycamore, verbal between couple, parties refused to separate.
9:43 p.m., public assist, W. Broad, fired employee escorted to vehicle.
10:12 p.m., alarm, S. Pacific, building locked and secure.
10:28 p.m., information, N. Pacific at CR 2302, heavy fog, no fire observed, officer was out at location on traffic stop with flashing lights.
10:31 p.m., motor vehicle accident, N. Pacific at Loop 564, unoccupied vehicle in ditch, handgun in plain view.
December 30
9:33 a.m., motorist assist, W. Broad at Loop 564, flat tire, moved out of roadway and towed for repair.
10:23 a.m., found property, 300 blk E. Broad, wallet left at pump, returned to owner.
2:36 p.m., disturbance, W. Broad, juvenile subject detained after report of threat with knife.
4:30 p.m., suspicious vehicle, N. Pacific at Loop 564, abandoned RV, moved to turn lane awaiting wrecker.
5:12 p.m., disturbance, E. Broad, siblings separated.
6:27 p.m., civil matter, Wren, question about eviction prior to issuing trespass warning.
7:20 p.m., city ordinance violation, English, fireworks, multiple calls, verbal warning.
7:29 p.m, city ordinance violation, W. Kilpatrick, fireworks, verbal warning.
7:49 p.m., motorist assist, 400 blk S. Pacific, officer blocking traffic while tire repaired.
December 31
3:20 a.m., unknown offense, Nancy, dog barking, officer met with owner who will take care of it.
9:32 a.m., motorist assist, 1000 blk N. Pacific, traffic control for stalled vehicle.
10:32 a.m., terroristic threat, Wigley, resident threatened by someone in Smith County.
11:19 a.m., reckless driver, 2100 blk N. Pacific, passing in no passing zone, officer did not observe vehicle driving recklessly.
11:47 a.m., welfare concern, E. Front, man contacted sheriff’s office needing EMS, subject located having seizures, taken to hospital.
12:35 p.m., disturbance, Stone, verbal, no weapons, juvenile probation contacted.
1:55 p.m., city ordinance violation, Freeman, fireworks, warning issued.
3:14 p.m., harassment, N. Newsom, subject claims false accusation by landlord, everything worked out.
3:22 p.m., motor vehicle accident, E. Broad at S. Pacific, little damage, no report.
4:34 p.m., burglary, Newsom, tools stolen.
5:41 p.m., welfare concern, N. Newsom, check requested on children in custody matter, no check needed.
5:47 p.m., city ordinance violation, English at W. Broad, fireworks, officer did not witness.
7:12 p.m., city ordinance violation, W. Patten, loud music, would not turn down, officer asked to turn down.
7:36 p.m., city ordinance violation, Wigley, fireworks, three calls at same time, one reported being thrown from vehicle, unable locate.
8:37 p.m., city ordinance violation, 100 blk W. Patten, fireworks, unable to locate.
8:38 p.m., alarm, N. Pacific, party advised would come and reset.
8:57 p.m., city ordinance violation, Wigley, Fireworks, officer advised residents of city ordinance and will be cleaning up area.
9:58 p.m., suspicious vehicle, 100 blk NE Loop 564, vehicle in front of fire exit for three nights, will be towed.
10:00 p.m., suspicious vehicle, 800 blk E. Blair, vehicle locked and no one inside.
10:32 p.m., city ordinance violation, 100 blk E. McDonald, fireworks, unable to locate.
11:50 p.m., city ordinance violation, 100 blk W. McDonald, fireworks, officer advised they will be putting them away.
