7:58 a.m., alarm, N. Pacific, canceled by alarm company.

4:14 p.m., unknown offense, CR 2724, shooting heard, coming from area outside park.

5:28 p.m., burglary, W. Blair, locks popped on two outside buildings, items missing, incident documented. 

January 8

2:39 a.m., information, 300 Greenville, subject seeking information concerning missing person/vehicle, informed was same subject involved in fatal traffic accident.

11:38 a.m., found property, N. Johnson at Kirkpatrick, wallet left on bench, brought to police station.

12:27 p.m., information, Wigley, rifle taken from subject, entered civil agreement to get gun back in exchange for other property.

2:18 p.m., welfare concern, W. Front, three females and male walking west, advised to stay off railroad tracks.

3:54 p.m., information, 200 blk W. Broad, stolen phone tracked from Lindale, phone located.

January 9

4:00 a.m., alarm, S. Pacific, location secure.

7:06 a.m., alarm, N. Newsom, owner on scene.

10:26 a.m., assault, NE Loop 564, aggravated assault on a peace officer.

1:20 p.m., motor vehicle accident, N. Johnson at Greenville, minor, no injuries.

4:40 p.m., theft, Goodson Cir.

5:41 p.m., theft, Landers, missing weed eater located in neighbor’s yard, no report on missing groceries, child’s desk or backpack.

8:57 p.m., suspicious vehicle, N. Pacific, vehicle with door open, vehicle left scene.

January 10

10:26 a.m., trespassing, Goodson Cir., daughter criminally trespassed from residence.

10:26 a.m., motorist assist, S. Pacific at Bromberg, minor traffic mishap, suspect vehicle located.

12:25 p.m., suspicious person, CR 2724, no one located matching description.

5:18 p.m., city ordinance violation, E. McDonald at Peachtree, loud music, unable to locate.

6:17 p.m., assist other agency, Harris, accidental medical alarm.

6:43 p.m., reckless driver, N. Pacific at city limits, unable to maintain lane, unable to locate.

9:05 p.m., motorist assist, 100 blk S. Pacific, vehicle in roadway, not located in roadway.

10:09 p.m., alarm, N. Pacific, employees.

9:45 a.m., found property, N. Pacific, bag of weed on sidewalk.

10:53 a.m., assist other agency, PR 6885, assist sheriff’s department with subject who escaped custody, suspect in custody.

1:39 p.m., welfare concern, have not heard from family member in two weeks, found deceased.

2:22 p.m., suspicious person, NE Loop 564, subject acting strange, given ride.

2:28 p.m., motorist assist, N. Newsom at W. Broad, vehicle stalled in roadway, moved out of roadway.

6:52 p.m., disturbance, Bromberg, male subject reported throwing items over balcony, subjects advised just saving trips on stairs.

9:16 p.m., suspicious vehicle, 1000 blk S. Pacific, no criminal offense.

January 12

1:06 a.m., assist other agency, University, assist sheriff’s department in locating suspect.

9:39 a.m., welfare concern, Kings Lane, subject left home upset, unable to locate.

10:50 a.m., civil matter, 300 blk Greenville, subject sought assistance with court-ordered funds sent to wrong account, referred back to the court.

12:45 p.m., assist other agency, SE Loop 564, vehicle fire.

2:15 p.m., forgery, N. Pacific, fake $100 bill.

4:10 p.m., unknown offense, Debby, person reported running scam, criminally trespassed from location.

4:48 p.m., unknown offense, Autumn Winds, family dispute over checking out resident from facility.

5:17 p.m., unknown offense, Kings Lane, subject from prior call without drivers license, stopped by police in Lindale.

9:01 p.m., unknown offense, Lakeside, barking dog, officer could not hear dog.

January 13

1:28 a.m., alarm, NE Loop 564, canceled by alarm company.

8:32 a.m., trespassing, Landers, subject walks on property every day, asked not to, criminal trespass warning issued.

9:53 a.m., assist other agency, Porter, warrant service.

2:47 p.m., vehicle stop, 1000 blk S. Pacific, license plate and fraudulent registration insignia confiscated.

4:33 p.m., public assist, 300 Greenville, referred to sheriff’s office concerning problematic neighbor.

5:52 p.m., inquest, Sue, justice of peace, funeral home contacted.

6:31 p.m., terroristic threat, N. Pacific, arrested Darrell Newsom, criminal trespass warning issued.

9:12 p.m., unknown offense, Lakeside, dog barking again, unable to locate.

9:56 p.m., unknown offense, N. Pacific, roommate left child with subject, child out of control, officer spoke with child and parent.

Officers also made 60 traffic stops and 13 animal control calls.
