Mineola school board to meet by teleconference
The Mineola School Board will hold a special meeting Thursday at 7 p.m. by teleconference. The meeting will also be broadcast live.
The board will consider postponing the May 2 school board election until the Nov. 3 general election.
Gov. Greg Abbott gave cities and school districts that option, and many are doing just that.
The board will also consider payments to employees during the school closing, which is to extend at least until April 3.
The meeting may be accessed on the Zoom platform.
It will also be live on the district's Facebook page.
A public comment portion will be available to the public as well by completing a Google Form.
