Mineola basketball teams split district games at Harmony last Tuesday, Feb. 2.
The Lady Jackets were defeated 50-48 while the Jackets stayed in the hunt for the district championship with a solid 82-46 win.
The Lady Jackets ended the year with a 3-9 district record after losing their final game to Chapel Hill, 61-37, on Friday.
In an evenly played game with Harmony, Mineola couldn’t convert chances late in the game, including a long three-pointer at the buzzer that would have won it.
The Yellowjackets finish the regular season Friday at Quitman after taking on Winona Tuesday.
