Earl Wayne Hass

WINNSBORO-Memorial services for Earl Hass, 76, Winnsboro, were held Friday, November 25 at Cross Roads Baptist Church with Terry Bolton and Fred Morrow officiating.

Mr. Hass died November 19, 2016, in Sulphur Springs. He was born July 22, 1940 to the late William D. “Buster” Hass and Willie Mae Hass. He worked in law enforcement on the Winnsboro Police Department, as Wood County Constable and on the Wood County Sheriff’s department. He was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and an infant brother.

Survivors include a daughter, Kim Criswell, Winnsboro; two grandchildren and a great-grandson.

Donations may be made to the Cross Roads Baptist Church in lieu of flowers.
