MISD hosting first forum on bond issue

Patrons of the Mineola school district will have their first opportunity to hear a presentation and ask questions abut the proposed MISD bond election.

The forum is Thursday, Feb. 24 at the Mineola Civic Center. It will also be broadcast online.

The district is asking voters to approve a $29.855 million issue for the construction of a new primary campus, renovating the elementary school into a career and technology center and additional improvements to high school facilities. The election is May 7, along with the school board election.

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert
