MLOTA hosts annual show

The Mineola League of the Arts annual fall quilt show will be held Friday and Saturday, Oct. 10-11 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the league’s building at 200 W. Blair St. in Mineola.

Quilts will be judged, and awards will be presented for first, second, third and honorable mention in several categories. There is also a display-only category.

There are also several special categories including best of show, judge’s award, people’s choice, mayor’s choice and members’ choice. The gift shop with members’ handiwork and the treasure room featuring new and gently used sewing items will be open during the show.
