Nettie Veitch, 1924-2018
Funeral service for Nettie Frances Veitch, 94, of Quitman were Monday, Dec. 31 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel of the Chimes with David Cook officiating. Interment followed at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
Nettie was born Nov. 19, 1924, in Golden to George and Mary Robinson Barnett. She worked as a homemaker and enjoyed her family and fishing. Taking care of her home and other people was her passion. She was a member of Church of Christ, Quitman.
She passed away the morning of Friday, Dec. 28, 2018. She lived in Wood County for most of her life.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Curtis, her parents, one daughter, two brothers, two sisters and three grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Eddie Veitch of Quitman and Bobby Veitch of Lindale; eight grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
