Ninety-year old Bobby McGregor drained a 25-foot par putt on the 12th hole Sunday and followed that with back-to-back birdies on the par-five 13th and par-three 14th holes to break a tie and capture the Super Senior Division of the Holly Lake Ranch Golf Championships, shooting below his age with rounds of 83-82-165.

McGregor entered the final day of the two day tournament with a one stroke lead and maintained that much of the day until the 11th hole, when he was tied for the lead with just seven holes remaining.

The par-four 12th hole was the deciding hole when his competition faltered and McGregor answered with his long up hill putt.

Two-time Club Champion, J. R. Hestand, made it three in succession with rounds of 76-78-154. Tim Stevens and Howard Dorman battled for second place, with Stevens edging Dorman by a stroke, 164 to 165.

Hal Holloway shot a front nine 33 and final round 73 for a two day total of 150, to capture the Senior Flight title. Don Klinker and Monroe Parker tied for second with Klinker shooting rounds of 81-76-157 and Parker 76-81-157.

Larry Bielak (88-81-169) finished in second place behind McGregor in the Super Senior flight and Mike Stephens was third with rounds of 89-81-170.

In Flight A competition Cliff Bauerle was the winner with rounds of 79-83-162. Stan Francis was second (84-86-170) and Sonny Riddle third (87-89-176).

Gary Poyner won Flight B (88-84-172) ahead of Roy Williamson (90-88-178) and Bo Gowan (87-93-180).

Gari Brown captured Flight C by three strokes (88-91-179) over Don Hensley (89-93-182) and Bobby Weber won Flight D (92-95-187) over Kyle Lewis (106-95-201).
