Wood County Pct. 3 Justice of the Peace Jerry E. Parker has announced his candidacy for re-election.
Parker stated “It has been a blessing to have been elected to serve the citizens of Pct. 3 over the past three years. The responsibilities have increased due to state mandates and State Supreme Court decisions.”
Parker said the number of cases filed in JP Court have increased from 2014 to 2017 by 300 percent. Revenue has increased from 2014 to a projection of approximately 400 percent for 2017.
“The clerks have done a tremendous job in making this office a pleasant experience for everyone that comes into the court. I ask for your continued support in the upcoming election,” Parker said.
