Mineola police reports for the past week included:

March 1 – Police arrested Richard Todd Spivey, 42, Mineola, for possession of drug paraphernalia at the Walmart parking lot at 4:24 a.m. An officer received a call of a suspicious vehicle and while speaking with the driver, he reported seeing a pipe in plain sight.

Amanda Jo Burge, 29, Hideaway Lake, turned herself in on a criminal trespass warrant involving damage at the nature preserve on Feb. 19.

Officers responded to Emily Street on a burning violation. A warning was given.

Police responded to a witness’ report of a man and woman arguing on Blair Street, but they were gone when the officer got there.

Feb. 28 – A man on Phillips Street reported being harassed by a woman who lives nearby. The woman was talked to by an officer and given a verbal warning.

Police arrested Robert Harold Williams, 68, Mineola, at his residence on North Johnson Street on a warrant for harassment out of Camp County.

Police arrested Radondah Gail Kroening, 43, Alba, for driving with an invalid license enhanced. The officer pulled her over on Second Street for failure to use a turn signal.

At 9:38 p.m. a disturbance was reported on Line Street when a man had a gun on his property and confronted the neighbors across the fence about someone being out by his pickup. The man was back inside his residence when the officers arrived. Officers made contact with the man and found that he thought he saw someone by his pickup. The man was drunk so the officer took the weapon for safekeeping and advised him not to go back outside. No threats were made.

Feb. 27 – Police arrested Phillip Wayne Parsons, 28, Aledo, on East Broad Street for driving while license invalid enhanced, expired license plate and possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine). They reported Parsons was stopped on a motorcycle for having the wrong color clearance lamps (blue).

A woman reported that someone claiming to be with a satellite TV company had removed money from her account twice. She contacted several supervisors with the company who verified that they had not taken the money from the account. The matter is under investigation.

Police arrested Jacob Neil Davis, 18, and Lori Pearl Burge, 19, both of Mineola for theft on Cage Street after they ran out of Brookshire’s with stolen food at 4:07 p.m. They were charged with theft under $100.

A man reported someone cut the wires on his gear shift while he had his vehicle parked at the bowling alley.

Feb. 26 – Officers checked on a woman on Brenda Lane for whom a friend was concerned and hadn’t heard from. They found that she had left for the day with friends.

A daughter contacted police because she couldn’t get her mom to go to the door on Goodson Circle. She was found in church.

Feb. 25 – A man on Line Street reported he heard someone outside, he went out to look and found his car door open but nothing missing or damaged. A little while later he heard someone outside again and saw a man running down the road. A friend at the home noticed an X had been scratched in the hood of her car. The matter is under investigation.

Police arrested Delani Nissen, 40, Mineola for driving while license invalid enhanced. They reported an officer saw her driving and knew she did not have a valid license.

Police arrested Amanda Elaine Carr Turlington, 34, Mineola for having no insurance, expired registration and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was pulled over on Loop 564 for having a defective taillight and expired registration.

Feb. 24 – Randy Joe Hanna, 23, of Hideaway turned himself in to police for a criminal trespass warrant out of Mineola. Police said he was involved in the damage of property at the nature preserve.

Personnel at Budget Business Systems reported theft when a woman bought several computers with checks from a closed checking account. The matter is under investigation.

A fraud was reported involving a check that was stolen out of a mailbox in Smith County and was used at Walmart in Mineola.

A customer reported his cellphone was stolen while at Claw Daddy’s at 8:20 p.m.

Feb. 23 – A wallet was found at the nature preserve and turned in to the police. It was later returned to the owner.

Officers responded to Buchanan Street where a man wanted to be transported to the hospital for some help with suicidal thoughts. He was transported by ambulance.

A hit and run was reported at 1:47 p.m. in the Subway parking lot. A woman reported a black pickup turned and hit the front of her vehicle and kept going. She followed the truck but the driver would not stop.

Police arrested Charles Allen Bell, 19, Quitman at his resident for a Mineola warrant for possession of a controlled substance.

An officer was called to Buchanan Street when it was reported that a teenage boy exposed himself to a woman and a passenger passing by in a car. The 15-year-old was identified and the woman did not want to press charges.

Personnel at Wisener Field Airport reported a white car with three males racing up and down the runway. The owner told them to stay off the property and wanted the police to issue them a criminal trespass warning but they were gone when an officer arrived.

A wallet was turned in to police that was found at the basketball court on Front Street. Officers have tried to contact the owner but have not been successful.
