Valedictorian of the Alba-Golden Class of 2020 is Ann Marie Pendergrass.

Salutatorian is Jacob Dailey.

The Class of 2020 will graduate Thursday, June 4 at Panther Stadium at 7 p.m.

Pendergrass, Dailey top A-GHS grads

Valedictorian of the Alba-Golden Class of 2020 is Ann Marie Pendergrass.

Salutatorian is Jacob Dailey.

The Class of 2020 will graduate Thursday, June 4 at Panther Stadium at 7 p.m.

Ann Marie has been accepted into the honors college at Texas A&M Commerce where she plans to get her bachelors in pre-vet. She then plans to attend Texas A&M University and earn a degree in advanced studies of zoology and veterinary medicine. She has been awarded the honors college scholarship and presidential scholarship from TAMU-C.

She was the volleyball team captain and was awarded 1st team all-district and academic all-district. 

She has been a member of the National Honor Society for four years and served as NHS secretary and class secretary. She was also voted the 2019/2020 homecoming queen by her peers.

She is the daughter of William and Christy Pendergrass.

Jacob plans to attend the University of Mary Hardin Baylor in Belton in the fall to study engineering and to play Crusader football.

His extracurricular sports include football, basketball and his favorite, baseball.

Outside of his time committed to school work, sports commitments and his work, Jacob enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, Hannah. He also enjoys hunting and fishing with the guys and just hanging out.

He is the son of Chad and Amie Dailey and Karla and Brandon Crockett.
