Wood County students attend barrel racing awards ceremony
The Tri-County Barrel Racing Association (TCBRA) held its 2013 Awards Ceremony on April 7at the Pickton Community Center. Several members from Wood County were in attendance, and received year -end prizes of buckets filled with goodies, horse blankets, saddle pads, 26 buckles and 11 saddles.
TCBRA is a nonprofit organization formed in 1999, and is dedicated to promoting sport of Barrel Racing for men, women and children of all ages. TCBRA has something for everyone from an age 10 and under lead line class, youth class and Open Division (both of which are 4D), 19 and over, novice and Pole Division (which are 3D).
