Funeral services for Betty Marie Morgan, 84, Mineola, were held January 19, 2015 at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola with Joe DeZelle officiating. Burial was held in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Morgan passed away January 16, 2015 in Tyler.

She was born Saturday, January 2, 1931 in Royce City, TX, to the late Emmett and Lillian Spearman.

Betty was a member of First Baptist Church of Quitman, TX.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy W. Morgan and two brothers.

Survivors include son; Gary Morgan and Deena of Tyler, daughter, Jan Robertson and Mike of Mineola, four grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers family request to make donations to Hospice of East Texas or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Special Olympics returns in style

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert

Concerts are Sunday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. and Tuesday evening, Dec. 19, at 7:30 p.m. Mike Holbrook is back in the director’s seat, so it’s sure to be a fun-filled couple of hours.
