Pilot Club of Quitman sets annual chili cook-off

The Pilot Club of Quitman presents its annual fundraising Chili Cook-off Friday, Jan. 27 from 6-8 p.m. at the Carroll Green Civic Center, 602 McAllister in Quitman.

Prizes will be awarded for the best chili and showmanship.

Entertainment will be provided by Dale “The C” Cummings with songs from the ‘50s, ‘60s and ‘70s.

Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and younger and can be purchased from any Pilot Club member or at the door.

Chili cook entry fee is $50 or $25 plus a $25 gift card.

Raffles and auctions will be held for high-dollar buckets and homemade desserts.

Proceeds benefit the club’s numerous activities to benefit the community and promote safety from head injuries.
