Shirley Barnett won gift certificates worth over $200 to local restaurants and eateries in Mineola in a drawing at the Iron Horse Festival by Grace Community Healthcare Ministry, presented by Director Jerry Brooks. Citizens also stopped by the booth to make donations to the ministry. Donating gift certificates were Bryan’s Cheesecakes, Cowburners BBQ, Dairy Queen, East Texas Burger Company, Jalapeno Tree, Kelly B’s (at the Country Club), Kitchens, and Uncle Bubba’s. With over 15 years of service to the community, Grace Community Healthcare Ministry continues to offer medical services at reduced rates. It is a faith based non-profit ministry supported by donations and staffed by caring volunteers.
