QISD board OKs paving projects at HS
Quitman ISD board of trustees considered and approved improvements to student parking and the bus drive at the Monday, Jan. 20 meeting.
The student parking lot behind the school will be getting a face-lift with limited areas of asphalt base repairs, seal coating and striping in the amount of $55,638. The existing bus drive will get new 2” asphalt paving, costing the district $87,821.
The board also approved the call for election for the QISD board of trustees general election to be held on May 2. Trustees Jane Herring and Raymond Peek are up for reelection.
