Graveside services for Dawn G. Story, 65, of Mineola, were held October 12, 2013, at Pilgrim Rest No. 2 Cemetery, Golden, under the direction of Wilson- Bartley Funeral Home, Alba, with Bro. Jim Clark officiating.

Mrs. Story passed away, Wednesday, October 9, 2013, in a Tyler hospice facility.

She was born January 6, 1948, in Gainesville to the late Jack Cloyce and Sarah Faye Mahan Brannan. She was an operator for AT&T and a member of Mineola Christian Fellowship Church.

Survivors include her husband, "Joe" Story of Mineola; sons, Sam Teymourpour of Houston, and Steve McKagen, of El Paso; stepson, Clint Story and Ashley, of Whitehouse; stepdaughter, Shana Fletcher of Mineola; one brother; ten grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and stepdaughter, Twila Dillon.

Special Olympics returns in style

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert

Come on over to Mineola’s beautiful Historic Select Theater and hear the Lake Country Symphonic Band’s Christmasy “Everything Christmas” concert.

Concerts are Sunday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. and Tuesday evening, Dec. 19, at 7:30 p.m. Mike Holbrook is back in the director’s seat, so it’s sure to be a fun-filled couple of hours.
