Quitman community Thanksgiving Nov. 24

The annual Quitman Community-Wide Thanksgiving Service will be held Sunday, Nov. 24, at 6 p.m., hosted by Faith Baptist Church. This time of worship and thanksgiving is for everyone to attend. 

The Thanksgiving message will be delivered by Pastor David Cook of Myrtle Springs Baptist Church. Worship music will be led by Jarrod Yeager, associate pastor/worship leader/student minister of Faith Baptist Church. Pastor Ken Otwell of First Assembly of God, Pastor Keefe Cropper of First United Methodist Church, and Pastor David Hartley of Living Waters Fellowship will also have roles in the Thanksgiving service.

Quitman Independent School District Superintendent Rhonda Turner will share and give thanks for the accomplishments of the students, teachers, staff and administration. A special offering for the Caring and Sharing Food Pantry will be taken to help the ministry continue to serve the need of hunger among families and individuals in our local community.

Faith Baptist Church is located at 405 S. Hart Street, Quitman.
