The Lady Bulldogs are 9-0 in district with just three games left to play starting with a big road win over Commerce. The Lady Bulldogs took Commerce down in three sets winning 25-22, 25-17, and 25-19.

Lady Bulldogs remain undefeated in district play

The Lady Bulldogs are 9-0 in district with just three games left to play starting with a big road win over Commerce. The Lady Bulldogs took Commerce down in three sets winning 25-22, 25-17, and 25-19.

Beth Noble had 25 assists and 15 digs, Kelsey Daniel had 12 kills, eight digs and two aces, Allison McKinley had 26 digs, five kills and five aces, and Shelby Herring had four kills and seven digs.

Shea Raley had six kills, while Alyssa Harris had 13 digs.

The Lady Bulldogs took down Como-Pickton Tuesday night at home, winning the first three sets 25-12, 25-8, and 25-14.

Allison McKinley had 13 kills, 14 digs, and two aces. Beth Noble had 31 assists and eight digs. Kelsey Daniel had10 kills, nine digs, and three aces. Shebly Herring and Shea Raley both had six kills. Alyssa Harris had six digs and four aces, and Rachel Bailey had eight digs.

The Lady Bulldogs sit at 9-0 in district play and 20- 12 overall. The junior varsity team lost in two sets against Commerce 17-25, and 24-26.

The freshman team also lost in two sets: 13-25, and 14-25. Both the sub-varsity teams won against Como-Pickton Tuesday night. The junior varsity squad took down the Eagles in two sets: 25-8, and 25-6. The freshman team won 25-9, and 26-19.

The Lady Bulldogs traveled to take on Edgewood Tuesday after the Democrat's press time. The Lady Bulldogs will not have a game on Friday as they have a bye. Their next game will be on Tuesday, Oct. 22 as they host Lone Oak starting at 5:00 p.m.
