Quitman FFA wildlife team advances to state
Quitman FFA traveled to Nacogdoches last Wednesday in the Area Six FFA Wildlife Career Development Events.
The team placed third and advanced to state in the Wildlife Contest. Team members included: Jordyn Blalock, Jentri Jackson, Branden Sessions, Jace Reid and Hayden Marshall.
Career Development Events (CDEs) build on what is learned in agricultural classes and encourage members to put their knowledge into practice. These are events which reflect classroom instruction in basic technical, leadership, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
